At the end of this course, the students; 1) develop skills and sub-skills of reading, listening, speaking and writing 2) learn the meaning and use of language associated with different text types, using appropriate strategies to work out their meaning 3) develop their critical thinking skills 4) write different types of academic essays by means of process writing and following the rules of academic writing.

COURSE DEFINITION
ENGE 200 is an Academic English course at C1 level, whose pre-requisite course is ENGE199. This course essentially focuses on the development of four language skills: reading, listening, speaking and writing. Moreover, it intends to integrate the development of productive skills with critical thinking skills. Enhancing students' efficiency in terms of lexical and structural points is also a crucial component of the course. Learners are encouraged to study independently.
