COURSE DEFINITIONThe course will focus on the impact that nanotechnology has in the advance of medicine and healthcare including its role in delivery of therapeutic agents, tissue engineering and biosensing/diagnosis techniques. In this course, nanotechnology approaches from in vitro and in vivo diagnostics to in vivo multimodal diagnostic, therapeutic and theranostic applications are discussed. Advanced nanotherapeutic approaches, such as DNA nanostructure carriers, nanovaccines and gene nanotherapy are also discussed. Students are required to discuss recent research articles in the area.
