LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Gain the ability to identify, formulate and solve civil engineering problems
2) Recognize construction building systems and analyze civil engineering issues with different methods
3) Have knowledge about current professional issues
4) Use the techniques and modern engineering devices necessary for civil engineering applications under realistic conditions

COURSE DEFINITIONSubjects that are acceptable for summer practice: Surveying, time keeping, checking and testing construction materials, assisting resident engineers. Preparing quantity and cost estimates, unit price estimates, civil engineering drawings and graphs. Use of computers in elementary civil engineering operations, taking part in construction work (20 working days).
COURSE CONTENTSIt is the actual work of the students at the institutions in the field of civil enginnering for 20 working days in order to get to know the business world, working life and get experience of the applications in civil engineering.
