1) To understand structure of the earth
2) To explain geological cycles, minerals and rocks
3) To understand internal and external geological processes affecting the characteristics of the Earth materials
4) To explain internal processes, including deformation of rocks and earthquakes engineering applications
5) To understand deformation types and structural features, time conceopt in geology
6) To define topographical-geological maps and cross-sections
