At the end of this course, the students; 1) To be able to recognize the mathematics textbooks approved by Ministry of National Education. 2) To be able to understand the properties that the textbooks should include. 3) To be able to analyze the textbooks which take place in the curriculum. 4) To be able to comprehend to analyze the textbooks according to the content, language, difficulty levels, format, contribution to meaningful learning and usefulness.

COURSE DEFINITION | Analysis of the curriculum and the textbooks approved by Ministry of National Education. Analysis of the textbooks according to the content, language, difficulty levels, format, contribution to meaningful learning and usefulness. Analysis of the structure, principles and objectives of the elementary mathematics curriculum. Order of the mathematical concepts in the curriculum and how they handled in the textbooks. |
