1) learn the concept of Biomimicry and in which areas it is used.
2) learn about designers who design with a biomimicry approach in the Fashion industry.

COURSE DEFINITIONIn order to produce creative and innovative solutions in fashion design, it is important to examine models in nature within the scope of biomimicry. The course aims to maintain design tools and systems with harmonious approaches inspired by nature.

1st Week General presentation of the course, giving information about its content.
2nd Week The concept of biomimicry, in which areas it is applied.
3rd Week Information on the concept of biomimicry as a resource for design.
4th Week Information on the concept of biomimicry as a resource for design.
5th Week Addressing and reinforcing with examples the designers who design with a biomimicry approach in the fashion industry.
6th Week Addressing and reinforcing with examples the designers who design with a biomimicry approach in the fashion industry.
7th Week Midterm
8th Week Making theme selections for the project.
9th Week Creating designs in line with the theme.
10th Week Creating designs in line with the theme.
11th Week Realization of the project of revealing a fashion design product inspired by nature within the framework of a selected theme.
12th Week Realization of the project of revealing a fashion design product inspired by nature within the framework of a selected theme.
