At the end of this course, the students; 1) gain awareness of the disciplines that make up the artistic aspect of textile such as 20th century art movements, art wear, fiber art and free textile art, 2) learn about the unique way of displaying the works of artists who perceive textile as art, in museums and exhibition venues, at home and abroad, 3) After the Modernism process, students gain sensitivity to textiles as an art object, the artists' search for new materials and the ways of expressing art.

COURSE DEFINITION
This course; It includes the methods, tools and materials that transform textile materials into works of art and the conceptual approaches of artists and designers who reflect them on their works. With the conceptual approaches of the 20th century art movements, it is aimed to perceive textile, which reaches original expressions, as an art object.
