At the end of this course, the students; 1) learn about Art movements, 2) comprehend the reasons for the formation of world art movements, 3) associate the interaction of art movements with political and sociological factors with fashion design, taking into account social sociological and technological factors.

COURSE DEFINITION
All artistic movements that exist in the world have existed as a result of social, political and economic developments. Every element that affects art and the artist appears in the form of painting, sculpture, literature, music and clothing. Periodic features of art movements in the world have been carried to the universal dimension, primarily in their own country, then with global interactions. In this course, the effects of art movements on fashion will be examined in the historical process.
