COURSE DEFINITION
This course includes; definition of communication, communication elements and their properties, types of communication, person communication, interpersonal communication, organizational communication, elements of effective communication techniques, verbal and nonverbal communication characteristics, interpersonal communication, communication styles, communication barriers, patients and their relatives to establish healthy communication skills and techniques, the concept of empathy.
