At the end of this course, the students; 1) Makes the definition and classification of infection. 2) Understands the terminology of infectious diseases. 3) Knows the transmission ways of infectious diseases. 4) Knows microorganisms causing infectious diseases. 5) Understand the formation mechanisms of infectious diseases. 6) Knows the changes and development processes in the body. 7) Knows the clinics and common examples of infectious diseases. 8) Knows infectious diseases treatment methods. 9) Hospital infections and precautions to be taken are asepsis-antisepsis, etc. knows. 10) Knows and applies the ways of protecting the health of the healthcare worker.

COURSE DEFINITION | Within the framework of this lesson, students, being healthcare professionals, are offered comprehensive information about infectious diseases through presenting them theoretical knowledge on preventive measures about how to protect themselves from various infections. The importance of infections from the point of view of both communities and individuals, evaluation of infectious diseases, and thus afflicted patients.
