At the end of this course, the students; 1) Understand the basic principles of medical terminology 2) Analyze structure of medical terms based on the their roots, prefixes and suffixes 3) Derive the medical terms with roots, prefixes and suffixes of medical terms 4) Win skill that the recognition of medical terminology words, reading and understanding 5) Know body systems and organs of the anatomic, diagnostic, surgery, and symptoms related terms 6) Understand all the relevant regional body, illness, disease symptoms in systematics of medical terminology 7) Know the International Classification of Diseases and Illnesses systems 8) Explain the importance of corporate communication of medical terms and direction, the plane and the motion stating the terms with the basic terms of human nature

COURSE DEFINITION
This course includes; medical terminology introduction, roots prefixes and suffixes, body structure, cell, tissue and organs, diagnosis and treatment, heart and circulatory system, respiratory system diseases, drugs, blood, digestive system, urinary system, reproductive system, endocrine system, senses, nervous system and behavioral disorders, skeletal system, symbols and abbreviations, medical report epicrisis ICD.
