At the end of this course, the students; 1) Explain concepts regarding healthcare and diseases. 2) Express basic principles in diseases. 3) Define systemic diseases. 4) Obey the rules of sterilization-disinfection, asepsis-antisepsis. 5) Take precautions to keep hospital infections away. 6) Aware of medical disposables. 7) Explain different types of shocks and know what to do.

COURSE DEFINITION
This course includes; health and disease concepts, causes and frequency of diseases, basic principles related with diseases ın terms of health services, system diseases, sterilization-disinfection, asepsis-antisepsis, description of hospital infections, path of infection and preventing them, management of medical waste, health of health employees, kinds of shock and necessary applications during shock.
