General Information

Başkent University Adana Health Services Vocational School Medical Imaging Techniques program has started education at the associate degree level in the 2008-2009 academic year. Our aim; to train technicians who can use high-tech imaging systems for diagnosis and therapeutic purposes and have the ability to interpret the information they receive.
Individuals who have graduated from this program and received the title of associate degree and radiology technician can work in Stateand University hospitals and privatecenters in our country, as well as in Radiology, Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Oncology departments.

61 students are admitted to the program each year. The language of instruction in the program is Turkish. Students are selected by YKS (HigherEducationInstitutionsExam) conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Center (OSYM). Students must take and pass each compulsory course; at the same time, in order to graduate, they must maintain a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00. In addition, there is a summer internship obligation covering 30 working days for graduation.
