COURSE DEFINITIONENG 128 is a beginner (A1 level) course which aims to teach general English and whose prerequisite course is ENG 127. The course aims to enhance students' knowledge of English language and vocabulary, and develop the four language skills (reading, listening, speaking, and writing).

2nd Week Unit 6: Simple Present, he/she/it
3rd Week Unit 6: Simple present negatives and questions,Adverbs of frequency
4th Week Unit 6: Vocabulary: Time words
5th Week Unit 7: Question words, pronouns (subject, object and possessive), this and that
6th Week Unit 7: Vocabulary; adjectives, opposite adjectives and places, reading and writing, role-playing, Can I?
7th Week Unit 8: There is / There are, prepositions, vocabulary related to rooms and furniture, in and out of town
8th Week Unit 8: Reading and vocabulary, listening and writing, asking and giving directions
9th Week Unit 9: was / were born, past simple irregular verbs, saying years, vocabulary related to people and jobs
10th Week Unit 9: Listening and speaking, reading and speaking, saying dates (months and ordinal numbers)
11th Week Unit 10: Past simple ? regular and irregular, questions, negatives, ago, vocabulary (weekend activities)
12th Week Unit 10: Speaking, listening and speaking,
13th Week Unit 10: Speaking and writing, making conversations
