LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Learn main structure of skeleton muscles
2) Learn main principles of moving and exercise
3) Learn exercises and applications
4) Learn the definition, evaluation and basic exercises of posture and posture disorders.
5) Learn rheumatological diseases and their treatment
6) Learn the definition and treatment of fracture, definition and treatment of peripheral nerve injuries, definition and treatment of shoulder injuries.

COURSE DEFINITIONThis course includes the physiotherapy and rehabilitation methods that are used for improving any disorders related to skeletal muscle function.

2nd Week The muscles of skeleton
3rd Week Exercise physiology
4th Week The main principles of moving
5th Week Isometric, isotonic, isokinetic exercises and applications
6th Week The normal posture, anomalies and deformities of posture
7th Week The postural exercises .
8th Week The mid-term exam
9th Week Rheumatoid Arthritis
10th Week Ankylosing Spondylitis, plantar fasciitis
11th Week Rotator Cuff Syndrome
12th Week Adhesive Capsulitis, impingement syndrome
13th Week Peripheral Nerve Injuries
14th Week Radius Distal End Fracture
