LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Understand the general and distinctive features of microorganisms
2) Learn usage areas types of microscopes and other equipment and tools in the microbiology laboratory and obtain information about the functioning of the laboratory
3) Identify the genetic systems in microorganisms
4) Defines effects of antimicrobial agents and microorganisms develop resistance mechanisms against them
5) Have information about the methods of transmission and prevention of diseases
6) Understand the methods of microbiological diagnosis
