LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) In the course, the students are informed about the effects of the virtual museum on society, with concepts such as virtual museum firsts, effects on society, pandemic and virtual museum.
2) Another important issue is the examination of the virtual museum and its stakeholders of new media art.

COURSE DEFINITIONIn our age, the museum in the virtual environment through the media has accelerated with internet access in the 1990s. The advantage of the virtual museum is that it provides easy visitor access and easy follow-up of visitor communication that can be followed on the net. Virtual museums also provided access to existing museums in this way and made the museum visitor profile variable. The aim of the course; The sine qua non of the virtual museum is to present the correct documentation, especially the photographic document and internet skills, to the students. The preliminary theories of the museum, which does not need a place, are Camillo, Malraux, etc. will also be covered in the course.

2nd Week Museum visit and discussion on the variety of presentation and exhibition technique of selected museum objects.
3rd Week Photography and documentation.
4th Week Database and documentation.
5th Week Creating a web site and choosing typography.
6th Week Effective exhibition method in virtual museum (light, color effects).
7th Week Light and color theory.
8th Week MIDTERM Presentation of the projects.
9th Week Research on the website presentation of major museums.
10th Week Research on the website presentation of major museums.
11th Week Digital media and museum.
12th Week MIDTERM Presentation of the projects.
13th Week New media art and museums.
14th Week FINAL PROJECT Presentations.
