At the end of this course, the students; 1) Information about the theoretical debates in the field is obtained. 2) The anthropological-philosophical origins of conceptualizations such as modern, barbarian, primitive, indigenous, modern and progress are comprehended. 3) The effect of anthropological codes on art, aesthetics and visual culture is better understood.

COURSE DEFINITION
Anthropology, which deals with human in its broadest aspects; The theory and applications are examined in the context of culture, structural linguistics and semiology. In this context, the universal background codes of the productions in the field of visual communication in the context of cultural anthropology and semiology, the principles of the universal functioning of the human mind, are analyzed in the field of design and visual communication.
