At the end of this course, the students; 1) Can exemplify the relationship between design and aesthetic value. 2) Learns the relationship between visual communication design and other design disciplines. 3) Aesthetics, philosophy and the definition, basic concepts and problems of design will be learned. 4) Speaks and analyzes aesthetic theories at a level to make criticisms and comparisons. 5) Analyzes design products on the basis of aesthetic values. 6) Conducts research and applications on the relationship between aesthetics and design.

COURSE DEFINITION
In this course, students will be able to look critically at themselves and then around them through visual information; they learn to do composition research that develops the ability to solve problems with original formatting and to develop aesthetic perception and make applications. At the end of this course, students; It is aimed to gain the ability to establish a relationship between historical, social and economic conditions and art and design processes, the ability to speak and analyze at a level to criticize and compare aesthetic theories, to speak and analyze at a level to criticize and compare art theories.
