COURSE DEFINITIONThe aim of the course is; is to provide students with the ability to develop and present an idea. In this context, in addition to the knowledge of when an idea can become functional, applicable and effective; It will also be shared how research methods will be used during the steps to be followed to achieve these. In addition, pre-midterm presentations will be made on the products that have evolved from the post-midterm idea to the project, and presentation techniques will be discussed in practice.

1st Week Meeting and General Information About the Course.
2nd Week What is an Idea and What Is Not? 7 Ways to Develop Ideas
3rd Week From Idea to Project: Introduction to Research Methods
4th Week Creating a Project Outline: Conceptualization of Idea, Topic Selection, Problem Definition, Context, Limitations, etc.
5th Week Project Development: Data Collection, Data Analysis, Research Method Selection and Process Management.
6th Week Project Testing: Focus Group Tests and Evaluations
7th Week Project submission
8th Week What is a Presentation? Presentation Types, Components, Preparation Process, Tools and Presentation Design.
9th Week Communication Methods for Effective Presentation (Ethos-Pathos-Logos)
10th Week Language, Diction and Intonation in Presentation, Oral Communication Design
11th Week Nonverbal Communication and Use of Body Language in Presentation
12th Week Using Visuals in Presentation and Designing the Visual Communication Process
13th Week Q&A Tips and Time Management in Presentation
14th Week Project Presentations
