At the end of this course, the students; 1) Recognizes the concept of new media within the framework of the socio-cultural transformations it creates, 2) It deals with the reality debates that come into our lives with the new media from different dimensions, 3) Analyzing and interpreting the changing daily life with new media, 4) Thus, it can produce much more conscious and effective designs for the digital world.

COURSE DEFINITION
The aim of the course is; The aim is to provide students with relevant information and vision about the socio-cultural dimension and current debates of the new media. Thus, it will be ensured that they are aware of the secrets and limits of the digital world; The transformation created by the developments in technology not only in a limited area, but also in all of our habits from a to z will be revealed. Knowing the new media in terms of its effects will make it possible to make competent and appropriate designs for the "virtual" world.
Homework will be prepared from 4 books that must be read within the scope of the course.
