2) To recognize the importance of up-to-date measurement techniques for increasing production quality.

COURSE DEFINITIONBasic terminology, scope and fields of application. Interrelations among dimensions, metrology and manufacturing processes. Destructive and nondestructive testing. Quality costs. Probability and statistical quality control. Control charts method. Acceptance sampling and sample size. Product reliability.

7th Week Frequency distributions, graphics for quality control.
8th Week P and C graphics.
9th Week Efficiency during manufacturing process.
10th Week Acceptance sampling and sample size.
11th Week Reliability, product reliability.
12th Week Costs of quality control.
13th Week Quality insurance system and quality control organization.
14th Week Standards with ISO 9000 series.
