COURSE DEFINITION
The topics covered within this lecture are: Specifications, standardization, interchangabilty and technical drawing in production. SI units of measurement. Linear, angular, geometrical measurements; perpendicularity, flatness, roundness, parallelelism, linearity, concentricity, eccentricity, and surface roughness measurements. Testing of machine tools. Gauges and gauge design principles. Gear and thread measurements.
