LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT |
At the end of this course, the students; 1) To analyse the cascades linked BJTs and FETs amplifiers. 2) To learn and utilize FET and BJT difference amplifiers. 3) To calculate and plot the frequency responseof BJT-FET amplifiers. 4) To learn and analyse the power amplifiers. 5) To analyse the feedback amplifiers. 6) To learn the OP-AMPs parameters and to analyse OP-AMPs circuits. 7) To know about oscillators and their structures. 8) To learn the principles of voltage sourse and voltage regulators. 9) To apply theoretical information into experiments. 10) To gain an ability to work individually with experiments. 11) To gain an ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams with given assignments.

COURSE DEFINITION | Differential pair amplifiers, large and small signal analysis, common and differential mode gain; Power amplifiers; Frequency response analysis of amplifiers; Operational amplifiers; Feedback concept. Different feedback types, Properties of negative feedback structures of amplifiers, Positive feedback, oscillator circuits, Power supply circuits and voltage regulator circuits. |
