LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Can Understand subject, history and basic problems of Labor Law 2) Understanding of basic concept of Labor Law 3) Learn the rules of Labor Contract 4) Learn rights and duties comes from the Labor Contract 5) Learn and assess employees working hours 6) Have knowledge of measures to be taken for occupational health and safety 7) Learn how to labor contract ending and rights and duties of contractors 8) Have knowledge of trade unions and the trade union freedom 9) Have knowledge of the rights of Collective bargaing, strike and lock-out

COURSE DEFINITION	Fundamental concepts of labor laws and legislation, and applications, estabilishing work contract, regularization and planning, employer and employee contractual rights due to work contract, regulatory laws for working terms of employee and their good, work health and safety issues, union contracts, strike and lockout rights. Philosophical sources and theory of ethics, self-control and privacy, intimacy, professional beliefs and responsibilities, fundamentals of engineering ethics and applications, legal aspects of engineering applications.
