At the end of this course, the students; 1) Acquire knowledge about fundamental principles and approaches of play therapies. Learn their history. 2) Acquire knowledge of basic equipment and technics used in play therapy practices. 3) Acquire knowledge about how differentiate the technics of play therapy according to client?s developmental stage and complaints. 4) Learn the role and use of play therapy in the context of play therapy.

COURSE DEFINITION | The aim of this course is to provide information on the fundamentals of play therapy, different types, and use of toys, play themes and configurations of play therapy sessions. At the end of this course, the students will learn theoretical knowledge about establishing a therapeutic relation with children in the context of play, materials used in play therapies and usage purposes of them and, session structure. |
