LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT |
At the end of this course, the students; 1) Learn the psychometric properties of the clinical testing instruments, which are used in adult assessment. 2) Learn how the clinical testing instruments are applied to the suitable cases and acquire application skills. 3) Learn how to write report regarding the result of the clinical testing process. 4) Learns the ethical principles which have to be integrated to the application reporting process of clinical assessment.

COURSE DEFINITION | The objective of this course is to teach test administering skills that are intended to understand adult psychopathology. In this course, students are expected to acquire basic knowledge and skills of how objective and projective tests and scales are administered, scored and interpreted in a holistic manner. For this purpose, certain intelligence tests, personality inventories, neuropsychological tests and scales which are frequently used in clinical assessment are introduced to students. During this course, students are expected to practice application of certain tests under supervision. This course also aims to teach and improve ethical report writing skills which are important components of clinical assessment. |
