COURSE DEFINITIONThe aim of lesson; To enable students to understand the basic concepts of communication and society, to contribute to their knowledge about the basic concepts, facts and events of the sociology of communication. In addition, it aims to help them apply theoretical concepts to real cultural processes, to enable them to learn the definitions of communication, relationship and interaction concepts and sociological models, to access different perspectives on mass media and its effects, and to comprehend popular culture and media relations.
