At the end of this course, the students; 1) Determines the subject and question of scientific research. 2) Performs a literature review. 3) Collects and analyzes quantitative and qualitative data. 4) Defines strengths and weaknesses of research methods and techniques. 5) Develops a research proposal, writes and presents a scientific research report.

COURSE DEFINITION
In this course, it is aimed to provide the student with the competencies of scientific research and understanding. In this context, the basics of research, examining the connection between philosophy, science, research and society, determining the subject and question of scientific research within the scope of scientific research methods, forming hypotheses, where and how to collect research data; research techniques, population and sample, what and how to measure; measurement and scales, variables, data coding and passing to SPSS, presenting findings, evaluating and drawing conclusions and interpreting etc. aimed at gaining knowledge and skills.
