1) Understands editing techniques.
2) Makes sound and video editing.
3) Masters the use of editing programs.
4) Knows the features of the content published in different media and designs the editing according to these features.
5) Corrects the project.

COURSE DEFINITIONWith this course, the student; will gain competencies related to editing different types of productions. In the course, which aims to teach fine editing of different types of productions, music clip or promotional film editing, news or documentary editing and drama editing will be discussed. Various productions will be prepared in which students will determine their own subjects, work as a team, shoot and edit. The productions prepared will be considered as the final project.

1st Week Informing the students about the content of the course and introduction to the course. Selection of visual elements to be used in the editing. Editing techniques according to program types. Music video project preparation.

7th Week news fiction project
8th Week Midterm
9th Week Drama editing project preparation
10th Week Drama editing project
11th Week Drama editing project

13th Week Evaluation of projects and making corrections.
