COURSE DEFINITION
The field and importance of the discipline of sociology, the importance of sociological perspective and sociological thinking, the emergence of sociology, culture, social change, social control and crime, social movement, ethnicity, modernity and post-modernity, globalization, economy, politics, culture, religion, family, gender and patriarchy, education, media, social stratification and inequality are the main concepts and topics studied in this course.
