LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Regulates the environment before shooting and adjusts the light according to the environment.
2) Comprehends all kinds of theoric and applied information about light.
3) Understands the types of light and uses light equipment effectively.
4) Check the lighting.
5) Plans, implements and has an aesthetic point of view for the purposes for which light will be used in different environments.

COURSE DEFINITIONWith this course, the student; will gain proficiency in how lighting should be done in television programs, series and movies. In addition to systematically learning the basic light information within the framework of a certain knowledge, it is aimed to understand the importance of the use of light for video production and to use them as compositional elements. In a sense, students are provided with learning to use the light technique to create meaning and atmosphere.
