At the end of this course, the students; 1) Can explain the basic concepts of system analysis and design. Learns the role and working style of the systems analyst. 2) Have the ability to make feasibility analysis 3) Gains the ability to bring together different informatics fields such as hardware, software, network, database, security. 4) To use and understand different software tools practically at every stage of system development processes. 5) Learns the basic concepts of the system development cycle.

Role and working methods of the system analyst in modern organizations, basic system analysis and design concepts, system analysis and design methods such as interviewing, questionnaire design, observation, prototype design, data dictionary, data flow diagrams, design of input/output forms and screens, user interface development and database design, automation within the system development life cycle.
