1st Week Introduction to notation using in Turkish Music.
2nd Week 13th and 14th centuries: Abcad systems of Safi Al-Din and Abd Al-Qadir.
3rd Week 17th Century: Ali Ufki notation.
4th Week 18th Century: Nayi Osman Dede and Kantemiroğlu notation.
5th Week 18th century: Abdülbaki Nasır Dede notation.
6th Week 18th century: Hamparsum notation.
7th Week 19th century: Entry and spreading of Western notation to Turkey.
8th Week Midterm.
9th Week 20th century: Adoptation of Western notation to Turkish Music and inventing new signs.
10th Week Notation in Indian music culture.
11th Week Notation in Chinese music culture.
12th Week Notations in Japanese and Korean music cultures.
13th Week Oral notation and mnemonics.
14th Week Mixed notation systems.
