LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT |
At the end of this course, the students; 1) Applies pharmacological and non-pharmacological behavior management techniques in pediatric patients under all conditions. 2) In the restoration of deciduous teeth, it makes cavity preparation in all conditions by considering the morphological differences between it and the permanent tooth. 3) It applies fissure sealant and fluoride, which are among the methods of preventing caries. 4) Applies pulp treatments in milk and young permanent teeth under all conditions. 5) Applies appliances that can be used in malocclusion treatments in dental arches and facial skeletal structures under all conditions. 6) Sees the systemic effects of nutrients on growth and development and their local effects on the oral cavity. 7) Defines the etiological, pathophysiological and clinical features of childhood periodontal diseases. 8) Diagnoses and treats childhood diseases and oral clinical findings of these diseases.

COURSE DEFINITION | The objective is to complete dental treatments by using the behavior management techniques in children and to learn the treatment modality correctly. To teach conventional and adhesive restorative techniques in primary and permanent dentition. |
