At the end of this course, the students; 1) Takes anamnesis for endodontic evaluation, makes the correct diagnosis of the need for endodontic treatment and makes treatment planning by using clinical examination and different diagnostic techniques. 2) Knows and applies the appropriate treatment steps for the endodontic treatment plan. 3) Knows the root canal anatomy and selects the appropriate root canal instrument. 4) Knows and applies pulp and periapical tissue diseases and treatment methods. 5) Knows and applies the retreatment of root canal treatment. 6) Selects and applies the appropriate anesthetic solution for the patient's systemic disease. 7) Provides decontamination, disinfection, sterilization and antisepsis during endodontic treatment. 8) Writes a prescription for prophylaxis, pain control.

COURSE DEFINITION
The objective of this course is the ability to import the students? theorical knowledge about the diagnosis and treatment planning in endodontics, root canal morphology, the use of rubber-dam, physical properties of instruments and rotary systems using in the root canal preparation, cleaning and shaping techniques of root canals, the biomechanical properties and clinical applications of root canal obturation materials, root canal obturation techniques, the problems and them solving in root canal therapy, to clinical practice.
