COURSE DEFINITIONThe goal of this course is to provide effective public speaking skills and offer both grammatical and articulation competence for fine speaking.

2nd Week The usage of mouth, voice and breathing
3rd Week Characteristics of Turkish: Everybody knows the vowel letters in our alphabet, but not everybody can use them clearly and properly
4th Week Pronunciation, articulation and emphasis
5th Week Words and proverbs that are misused in daily life
6th Week What is accent? What is emphasis?
7th Week Reading different texts and analyzing the importance of emphasis
8th Week Midterm Exam
9th Week What is voice? What is the correlation between your voice and your background?
10th Week Exercises on listening effectively, regardless of your interest in the subject matter
11th Week Reading stories and comics texts
12th Week Analyzing audience and designing speeches and presentations
