At the end of this course, the students; 1) to classify organic compounds and familiarize biorganic molecules 2) to perform biochemical calculations 3) to explain structure, function and importance of biological molecules. 4) to discuss the general principles of physiological control systems and to explain transport across the cell membrane and bioelectrical phenomena related to cell membrane 5) to review basic clinical approaches for medical education

COURSE DEFINITION
This course reviews fundemantals of chemistry/organic chemistry for medicine, basic concepts of structures/ functions of biomolecules, importance of membran structure, transport and function with laboratory applications. Also, this course introduces students with basic clinical approaches for medical education.
