LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Gain knowledge of world and Turkish and world mythology. 2) Carry out comparative analysis by acquired data. 3) Acknowledge underlying mythic properties of traditions, customs and beliefs. 4) Gain knowledge of history of mythological studies.

COURSE DEFINITION	This course focuses on the importance of myths in a nation?s identity, studies on Turkish mythology, as well as the impacts of old Turkish beliefs on Turkish language and culture
