At the end of this course, the students; 1) Apprehend the properties of works represented in Turkic World's literature. 2) Discuss genres and types of poetry in Turkic world's literature. 3) Evaluate written and oral sources of Turkic World's literature. 4) Compare Turkic World's and Turkish folk literature.

COURSE DEFINITION | This course focuses on the presentation of major epic and lyric works of folk literature, and other folkloric products of Turkish communities, as well as their Anatolian counterparts. |
