LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Acknowledge the studies in the world and in Turkey regarding folktale genres. 2) Learn folktale research methods. 3) Develop skills for conducting scientific studies on folktales.

COURSE DEFINITION	This course focuses on the development of minstrel tradition in Anatolia, origins and characteristics of minstrel literature, as well as its impacts on Turkish culture through the examples of minstrels and their poetry.
