LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Learn genres and representatives of Minstrel literature. 2) Make evaluations on the basic problems of Minstrel literature. 3) Analyze poetry by folklore theories.

COURSE DEFINITION	This course focuses on the development of minstrel tradition in Anatolia, origins and characteristics of minstrel literature, as well as its impacts on Turkish culture through the examples of minstrels and their poetry.
