LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Gain an overview on the history of Turkish theatre. 2) Learn subgenres of traditional Turkish theatre. 3) Examine major works of contemporary Turkish theatre.

COURSE DEFINITION	This course focuses on the history of Turkish theatre from traditional to modern. Technical aspects of traditional theatre will be discussed, and major works of contemporary Turkish theatre will be examined.
