LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Learn what is script in cinema.
2) Understand the function and importance of script in a production.
3) Know the processes of a script and by learning script writing rules, put these learnings into practice.

COURSE DEFINITIONThe basic concepts, the fundamental principles and stages of scriptwriting will be covered in this course. The idea of film, synopsis, writing and analyzing treatment, examining similar works in the context of scenario, basic features of a good script, parts of script (introduction, development, resolution), and scriptwriting formats are being discussed.

7th Week Main Components of a Script and Points to Consider While Script Writing

9th Week Formal and Contextual Working Stages of a Script, Writing Cinematographic Subject/ Synopsis and Treatment
10th Week Continuity / Sequence and Stage Study

13th Week Working on Sample Shoting Scripts Prepared for Cinema
