COURSE DEFINITION | This course deals with basic engineering project management functions such as planning, organization and control for project teams. Issues that are important in the management of engineering and high technology projects are discussed. The economic, time and performance parameters of engineering projects are analyzed from the point of view of organization and resource. Organization and planning of engineering function, planning of engineering projects, using of project management tools properly, definition of project organization, earned value systems, properties of effective controls, measurement of business performance. |
