Satellite based positioning systems: space division, control division, user division. Signal structure. Time and coordinate systems. GPS measurements: Determination of parameters, integer ambiguity, orbit determination. Error sources and error reduction. Absolute positioning. Differential GPS (DGPS). Relative position determination: Static, kinematic, stop-start measurement methods. Real-time kinematic measurements. Continuous reference stations.
