At the end of this course, the students; 1) Seek the answer to the question of why the person has committed a crime, 2) Evaluate the studies on the causes of crime in different disciplines, 3) Be aware of the measures to be taken before the crime occurs in the scope of the fight against crime.

COURSE DEFINITION
According to Dönmezer ?The subject of criminology is to examine the behavior of the criminal, the justice system as a social fact, the criminal and social environment relations, determine the causes and factors of the crime and seacrch to eliminate the social evil called the crime or identify strategies and techniques to reduce as much as possible? In this lecture, as Dönmezer explains, with the help of different discipline, law school students will try to think about why the person commits a crime, as a result of the discussions that will be held in the lessons, it will be tried to reveal what societies and states can do to reduce the crime.
