COURSE DEFINITION | The aim of this course is to ensure that prospective teachers know the basic concepts of listening and listening education; To enable them to evaluate the suitability of the objectives and activities related to listening skills in the Turkish Lesson Curriculum and to design activities to improve listening skills.
General course content: Basic information and concepts about listening education; physical and mental elements of listening; memory and its properties (short-term memory, long-term memory; episodic memory, semantic memory and procedural memory); the relationship between listening vocabulary and vocabulary; attention; listening deficits; listening processes; developing listening skills; listening and watching, making sense of body language features; training environments for listening skills; listening methods and techniques; measuring and evaluating listening skills; Designing listening activities. |
