COURSE DEFINITIONThe aim of this course is to ensure that prospective teachers know the basic concepts of listening and listening education; To enable them to evaluate the suitability of the objectives and activities related to listening skills in the Turkish Lesson Curriculum and to design activities to improve listening skills. General course content: Basic information and concepts about listening education; physical and mental elements of listening; memory and its properties (short-term memory, long-term memory; episodic memory, semantic memory and procedural memory); the relationship between listening vocabulary and vocabulary; attention; listening deficits; listening processes; developing listening skills; listening and watching, making sense of body language features; training environments for listening skills; listening methods and techniques; measuring and evaluating listening skills; Designing listening activities.

3rd Week Training of listening skills. Processes in listening education

6th Week Listening/monitoring methods and techniques in TDÖP. Examples from textbooks
7th Week midterm week
8th Week Listening education practices in the Turkish Lesson Curriculum
9th Week Measurement and evaluation in listening education
10th Week Listening training applications. Exam examples for listening training
11th Week Designing listening education course contents (Presentation)
12th Week Designing listening education course contents (Presentation)
