1) Knows the basic concepts of morphology.
2) Learns ways to make words.
3) Can analyze words within the text.

COURSE DEFINITIONMorphological features of Turkish, methods of deriving words and making words function in sentences, constructional and inflectional suffixes, applications for recognizing suffixes in the text, verb frames in Turkish, concept and function areas, and analysis of voice suffixes; The concepts of mood-time-person constitute this course. The main purpose of this course is to enable students to know the morphological features of Turkish and the word production ways of their native languages; to enable them to realize the functionality and functions of the attachments.

1st Week Distribution of syllabuses and information about the course. Description of the topics to be covered during the term
2nd Week Basic concepts and terms related to morphology (root, suffix, derivational-inflectional suffix, stem, dead suffix, active suffix, non-functional suffix, vowel-consonant harmony, auxiliary voice?) Suffix features
3rd Week Derivative suffixes that make a name from a name
4th Week Derivative suffixes that change action from noun
5th Week Derivational suffixes that make nouns from verbs
6th Week Derivational suffixes that make nouns from verbs
7th Week midterm week
8th Week Derivational suffixes that change from verb to verb
9th Week Derivational suffixes that change from verb to verb
10th Week Inflectional attachments. Noun suffixes (case suffixes, person suffixes, possessive suffixes, plural suffixes, question suffixes)
11th Week Action suffixes (Verbals, person suffixes, mood suffixes)
12th Week Application studies
