COURSE DEFINITION	In this lesson, the phonetics of Turkish will be discussed. The phonetic features of Turkish, various features of vowels and consonants, sound events, the stress system and syllable structure of Turkish will be examined. Application studies will be carried out on the topics covered. The aim of the course is to make the student understand the phonetic features and phonetic events of Turkish.
COURSE CONTENTS	WEEK TOPICS 1st Week Distribution of syllabuses and information about the course. Description of the topics to be covered during the term 2nd Week Basic concepts and terms related to phonetics (phonology, letter, alphabet, phoneme, syllable, transcription, speech sound) 3rd Week Vowels in Türkiye Turkish. Consonants in Türkiye Turkish 4th Week Consonants in Türkiye Turkish 5th Week Consonant-consonant harmony.
